The Fair of Saint Alexander is one of the historical events in Lombardy and Italy, its origins date back to 898, when King Berengar gives Curtis Murgula to Bishop Adalbert. Bergamo Fiera Nuova and Ente Fiera Promoberg between its manifestations in accepting the Fair of Saint Alexander were also invested with the task of handing down a tradition, a witness of history to share with pride .This date also historically was not a coincidence, the Fair of Saint Alexander was the first exhibition of livestock in the area, the event which was initiated to transhumance. The desire to resume the tradition meets the needs of livestock producers, traders who have the opportunity to focus efforts, the needs of visitors and operators of the general public.
