The Nuova Fiera di Roma project is the last step in a long process started in 1953 with the inauguration of the first Fair centre in Rome, located in Via Cristoforo Colombo. With a view to meeting the needs of the expo and congress sector in an innovative and more adequate manner, the city's Institutions have decided to establish a dedicated facility in a new urban area, located along the Roma-Fiumicino motorway. Nuova Fiera di Roma stands as a high-profile synthesis between urban, architectural and functional aspects.
