Restaura born from the idea of developing an autonomous section, even if it remains within the “Salone dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali di Venezia”, which could focus on the Restoration and Conservation of Cultural and Environmental Goods; It achieves great consensus from various fields including associations, right up to the Ministry of Cultural Goods. This section covered three thematic fields: diagnostic instruments methods; material and machines for restoration; and technical procedures in conservation. It deal with restoration covering architecture, environment, sculpture, stone, maps, pictures and archaeology. A space dedicated to restoration and conservation. Cultural activities: cultural works become a resource for the future. Art, traditions, crafts, all promote activities and protagonists aiming at an organised use of culture within the broad framework of cultural tourism. The Salon is also an area reserved for the relationship between culture, tourism, territory and economy.
