Germany is the world's leading host for international trade fairs. An average of 25 trade fairs annually take place at the exhibition centers of Cologne, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Berlin: the whole German trade fair system (over 20 major venues) involves nine million visitors and more than 170 thousand exhibitors, half of which come from abroad.
