Riva del Garda stands on the northern tip of Lake Garda, in the Province of Trento. How to get to Riva del Garda
Riva del Garda is reachable by the A22 Motorway or the Brenner State Road 22, exit Rovereto Sud. The city is on the northern end of Main Roads 45bis, along the west side of Lake Garda, and the SS249, east side of the lake. Riva del Garda doesn't have a train station: the nearest is in Rovereto, on the Brenner railway line, and it is reachable in 30 minutes by bus. You can get to Riva del Garda by ferry, departing from the ports of Limone sul Garda, Malcesine, and Desenzano.

Shopping in Riva del Garda is a pleasure, especially while enjoying an ice cream: in fact there are many ice cream parlors around the historical centre and the lakefront. The narrow streets around the Molo1, from which ferries depart towards Desenzano, Malcesine, Limone sul Garda, and La Rocca, are a great place for shopping, and also host many eateries, restaurants, clubs and pubs. From a commercial point of view, a major road is that leading from Riva del Garda to Arco di Trento, where many shopping malls have sprung up recently, with dozens of shops selling clothes, shoes, accessories and traditional foods.
